About the Business
SL4 Carpentry is run by me - Stuart - a fully qualified carpenter and joiner, whose experience stretches back to 1988. I started my apprenticeship under the guidance of some very skilled Joiners, all of whom were at least 3 times my age! After a few years of making doors, windows and staircases in the Joinery workshop, I ventured out onto the building sites. My knowledge gained over many years in the trade covers most areas of carpentry and site management. I have fitted out hospitality boxes at Twickenham Stadium, built curved display cabinets for a number of notable museums in London, fitted out stunning suites in Claridges Hotel and worked on a number of high profile government buildings. Other commercial work I have carried out includes shop fitting, pub refits, house building, contract carpentry and film set construction. I've also worked in domestic houses and have covered almost every carpentry task conceivable in people's homes.
