About the Business
After gaining his city & guilds qualifications he moved to Cheshire for three years where the work involved renovations, refurbishments, extensions, timber treatment & damp proofing, learning many aspects of other building trades on site. Moving back to Ipswich Sean joined a small local company mainly involved with new builds.
After a few years, Sean decided to become self employed. Working as a sub contractor gave him the opportunity to work on every and all types of buildings. Schools, hospitals, sports centres, shop fitting, bespoke homes, timber framed & listed buildings.
With all this experience and an eagerness to find new challenges the next step forward was to start this company. Since Conwick Carpentry started in 2005 we have worked on various projects throughout Suffolk, such as hanging doors, laying flooring, through to new kitchens and bathrooms, extensions and new builds.
