With 15 years experience, Chandler Carpentry & Joinery offers a wide range of services including, 1st & 2nd fix carpentry, roof and loft constructions, bespoke joinery, kitchen installation, timber frame erecting and out-buildings, refurbishments, and wood flooring.
One of James's most notable achievements was his involvement in the Grand Designs Passivhaus project. The house was the first in the country to be certified as a Passivhaus - an energy efficient, german-standard, built project. James helped to produce the built-in joinery for the house.

Warwick, WarwickshireWe commissioned Chandlers to make, supply and fit wardrobes. The job was two months delayed, they damaged the ceiling and initially denied this before admitting culpability and agreeing to make good. One of the partners was rude to my husband. The wardrobes are well made, however, some of the finishing needed rectifying and despite promising to rectify this and carry out snagging work have never returned to do this. Sadly they rushed the job at the end so they could start another one. Disappointed with how the work was executed and we were treated.
I have not known Jim Chandler that long (about 3 months) but in that time he has carried out some work at my house. This involved supplying and fitting replacement windows and doors, fitting sink cabinets and general kitchen units for waste/water pipes etc. I have found him to be reliable, trustworthy and conscientious. His work is of a very high standard and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending him.
He is polite, turns up to work on time, ready to work. He is pedantic in assuring the work is done to perfection. He communicated well with me and sought my opinion without being intrusive. He gets on well with other trades. He is a very pleasant young man who I would have no hesitation in employing in my business of over 300 people.
