About the Business
Having served a 5 year apprenticeship starting in 1978, I qualified as an Engineer's pattern maker and Industrial Model Maker in 1983, in the course of which I completed projects for companies such as Black and Decker. During this time, I made prototype wooden models of drills, lawnmowers and strimmers, amongst other products, whilst training in joinery. I therefore began to hone the traditional skills of wooden model making, which has helped shape my career to date. I later continued as a self-employed model-maker, branching into carpentry a year or so after. I have been working as a carpenter ever since. As part of my carpentry work, I developed my decorating skills, and now decorate properties to a high standard, including high gloss finishes, French polishes, spray lacquering and wallpaper hanging. Matching mouldings to existing fixtures. All my work is finished to an exceptionally high standard and I pride myself on quality of service.
